How this works with me (and a few rules thrown in too)

-Want a dream?
Whisper me on Furc as Peacerose (or Peacekitty). I'll ask a bunch of questions to get an idea of the amount of work that will go into your dream, and then I'll quote you a price and we'll go from there. I'm also be more than happy to show you dreams that I've previously completed or am working on so you can get a better idea of my work. I do reserve the right to refuse commissions, though I will certainly tell you why if I chose to do that.

-Changes to a commission
If, while I'm building your dream, you decide you want 8 more bedrooms, 12 more DS effects or any other significant changes to the original commission, the price will go up.

-Payment
I take payment either by paypal or by dragonscales. I will also consider art/digos/portspaces, but tell me up front if that's how you want to pay .. I may or may not take them.

I require at least half of the price be paid before I begin work on the dream, and I will refund it if for some reason I don't build the dream.

-Disappearing commissioners or incomplete payment
This has been a problem lately, so I will address it here. Until the dream is paid for in full, the dream is still mine. If you disappear with no warning for more than a month, I reserve the right to sell/auction/give away the dream if you have not paid completely. (If you have paid completely, I'll hold on to the dream until you return.) If the dream sells for a reasonable price, I will return half of what you had previously paid for the dream if you approach me about it.

Furthermore, if after the dream had been completed for 2 weeks, you have not paid in full (and I keep getting excuses), I may consider selling it. I will inform you if it gets to this point, and give you a final chance to pay.

-Prices
It's hard to give an exact price on dreams because they take a lot of time. Some simply come together easier than others. Here are some estimates based on dream size, but each commission will be considered on its own basis.

Small dream (<4 rooms, including hallways) - $15
Medium dream (4-10 rooms, including hallways) - $25-$30 (Examples of this size would be the Seaside House and the Vineyard)

Bottom line:
I put a lot of work into my dream commissions, and I love doing them. They do take many many hours, mostly because I'm a perfectionist, and I simply want to see that I'm compensated for my work. I do hope I haven't scared anyone off with my rules. I'm really easy to work with, and I'm normally not so rules oriented!
